The West Coast Treasure Hunter's Club was formed in 1987 and 1998 that was registered non-profit society by a group of metal detectors that supported the BC Children's Hospital raising over $55,000. We are enthusiasts whose hobby is to locate and retrieve treasures from the land, sand or sea. We also have members who search for relics and pan for gold.
Many of our members have years of experience, so if you are new to the hobby and want to learn more, you are welcome as a guest at a club meeting. The club meets 7:30 PM the 1st Wednesday of each month in Room 202, 7433 Edmonds Street Burnaby, B.C. Canada.

Our number one mission is to get out with like minded individuals, and have some great fun finding lost treasures. Sometimes a few coins and sometimes it's more substantial but we always have a great time!
If you're new or a long time detectorist it doesn't matter, we all have something to learn. We have regular club hunts and bring our members out in the field where the can learn the right way to find and retrieve metal detecting finds. This is really a great place to learn about some of the better metal detecting locations, some history about our province, the different metal detectors being used, and so much more...
Many of our members bring their finds to the club during our monthly meetings so you can see some of the great things being found. We have other members with great collections of different items that often bring them out for display. And most of all we have a great number of stories every month that we like to share with club members as well. Come on out and share some of your treasure finds with the group!
